The Versys-X 300 is Kawasaki’s contender against the KTM 390 Adventure.
Kawasaki has announced a year-end discount of Rs 25,000 on the Versys-X 300. This offer applies exclusively to MY2025 models, bringing the ex-showroom price down to Rs 3.24 lakh.
Like its rival, the Versys-X 300 aims to appeal to riders seeking adventure-ready capability in a compact package. It is powered by a 296cc parallel-twin engine that delivers 39 bhp and 26 Nm of torque. Power is routed through a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear changes.
The suspension setup features a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front with 130 mm of travel and a single rear monoshock offering 148 mm of travel. The instrumentation is a semi-digital combo, and the braking system includes dual-channel ABS.
The 2026 Versys-X 300 lineup, launched in October, remains mechanically unchanged. It is offered in a dual-tone green-and-black color scheme with refreshed graphics.
Think piece: The Versys-X 300 positioning mirrors Kawasaki’s strategy to tempt riders into a capable, do-it-all bike at a competitive price point. The current Rs 25,000 year-end incentive makes the initial outlay even more approachable, potentially shifting the decision for buyers weighing it against the KTM 390 Adventure.
